Busy Weekend
Wow.. how many days have passed since i last created an entry? 2? 5? i seriously lost track of time. Not surprising when busy with stuff.
Maybe i should recamp. I mean, recap. Too many camps already. haha.. Thursday i attended the NCO camp. Taught a bit of lamp lighting. Then lesson interrupted by some cadet’s family matter. Apparently their family got something happen to their elderly member. So they had to withdraw the student from the camp. Then the valuable still in school. Ok lor.. come to school take valuable.. But then HO could not find the key or bag. Something liddat. Then resulted in a delay. Then i got scolded from his sister and father. Hmmz.. cannot blame them la. They must have been worried sick about their elderly family member that they decided to take out their anger on me by saying that i ignored their request, as a result making the whole process of passing their child’s valuables to be slowed down. When in actual fact that there was a delay and i couldn’t do anything to make it faster.. So what does this show? When people are angry they tend to lose their temper? Or when they are older or not related to you they can be rude, insult you and take out their anger on you? I dunno man.. I thought we were all polite people who knew how to ask for things nicely, instead of shouting rude comments and intimidating people? Or maybe i was so sleepy then that i totally misunderstood the anxiousness of the parent. No matter, what is done is done. I believe that all of us have the apporiate skills to communicate with each other without offending the opposite party.
So after the lamp lighting, went home, sleep. Next day kena morning call by cadet and instructor. Then came to unit lor. At 1515 i went to TP for CMSK tutorial then back to unit for campfire. Hmmz… what shall i say about the campfire? very quiet. Cadets were not taking the lead. Firewood was not soaked. So no choice, had to make do. But it seems that the intensity of the fire determines the mood of the campers. Or am i wrong?
Campfire over liao. Go home. Next day ALP at TP. It was fun man.. Played trust fall (ELF Open hse play liao), traffic jam (LTC Play liao) and Mohawk. Some obstacle which really brought out the team-spirit in everyone. After that joined the instructors for lunch, followed by a quick rush home, some Black Hawk Down then 4e3 BBQ..
BBQ was fun (again). Although i forgot some of my classmates name, in the end, we all had a good time, disturbing keru and ethel. Wahahaha. Lua came down to BBQ as guest star. Talked about his Hai Sing Cat experience and the state of NAS now.
After BBQ, MRT home, and KO. Sunday had LMSC instructors meeting. Then at nite watch Rush Hour 2.. Then type this entry lor.. Sleepy liao… haiz.. another long week..
